Hi everyone, not sure if i'm posting in this right spot but i'm in need of some advice/opinions! I'm struggling to make decision on whether I should take organic and physics over the summer online. I would take organic 1 during the first part of summer and physics 1 in the second. (along w/ some fluff courses like health) I already spoke to my pre-med advisor about how med schools may view this but she said it won't really matter that much as long as its at 4 year institution. any advice??

When you say online, do you mean through a class offered by your university that has been moved to being taught online due to covid-19?

Yes, they were originally offered in-person but got moved to online

1) taking summer prereqs is a negative
2) taking courses online is a negative
3) taking any hard course in a summer compressed time frame is hard

These are risks under your control. How will school view it in 2 years is unknown but applying today's standards, most schools wouldnt accept them as fulfilling prereqs. However, with COVID, it is unknown.

Unfortunately I have to squeeze in these courses to stay on track for graduation. Also, I'm just realizing how expensive these summer courses are at my school.. community college isn't really an option right? Its already bad enough that I'm taking them online?
