hi, i still don't understand why this is S configuration.
I thought it is R since H is on the vertical axis we dont have to change anything and priority goes like F-->Br--> CHO so it goes to right.

anyone help me out on this!!

Be careful. Br--> F--> C=0. Br has the higher priority over F.

Priority is given by atomic mass, NOT electronegativity. I made that mistake also when I was first learning this concept. UCLA is right.
