Hello!

Could someone please tell me where I can make original notarized copies of my diploma in Illinois.

Original notarized documents are photocopies of the official documents bearing the original notary stamp.
Photocopies without the original notary stamp will not be accepted as official documentation.

I visited my bank and local post office, but in both places I was told that they are not authorized to make official notarized copies of any documents.

Than I searched the Web and found ILLINOIS NOTARY PUBLIC HANDBOOK. On the 12th page of this document we can read the following:

A Notary May Not Issue Certified Copies
Illinois law does not authorize a notary public to certify copies of any document.
Persons requesting certified copies of documents should be referred to the official
who has custody of the original document or to the office where the document
has been officially filed.

Please, someone help me... What should I do?

if you have an account on CHASE they can do it for you for free. I always go there for that

You could go to any UPS store. You need to bring the original with you, and request a notarized copy. I think it costs $1.50 per stamp.

you can try at any currency exchange; last time i paid $🙂

Thanks A LOT for your advices, friends! 🙂
