Extracurriculars: a lot of involvement with ASDA, attended numerous national meetings, involved in lot of school activities & leadership positions, tutoring, TA, committees, etc.

Applied to 11 programs, have received 4/4 invites sent out so far

Good luck to everyone applying and keep your heads up if you haven't received invites for interviews yet because a lot of schools still haven't finished looking over applications.

I think it is odd to get an invite on a weekend but apparently some have posted that they either got emails or calls for interviews on weekends ...😕

No interviews offered yet, but I've been told that Indiana University will be interviewing on Nov. 9th. This program normally has 7 spots.

Yep. You can argue that some programs are better than others (usually only for certain things--no perfect program exists--they all have failings of one type or another), but to get into any program is an extraordinary feat. This is true even if you get in through political channels. It takes extraordinary work to arrange the politics in such a way to grant admission.

I received a UCSF interview today, 10/2, by phone for 10/31. I noticed that two people last week also got UCSF interview invites. This makes me wonder, do you think that these invites are given from a school all at one time or do they tend to spread out as the applications are reviewed?

Hi everybody,

I wanted your opinion to see if I can get a interview call.
My numbers are

Part 1 - 93
part 2 - 84
GPA - 3.78
Top 15 % in class.
3 years of private practice experience.
No research or publication.

Does any one have any idea about Boston interview dates.
 
I'm currently in a GPR program, my Part 1 score was 93, my Part 2 score was 80, no class ranking at my school, no published research, a good amount of community service experience. I have had 1 interview offer at Montefiore Medical Center...I know St. Barnabas also favors private practice or GPR/AEGD experience but they haven't offered interviews as of yet. Good luck =)

I was really hoping to hear from the new program in New York called Maimonides, but nothing yet. I can't get anyone over there to answer the phone to see if they have sent out invites. Anyone know anything?
