ortho rotation before general surgery

I'm 3rd year and my rotation sequence was just switched on me last minute. I was suppose to do general surgery early on and so I set up an ortho rotation a few months after that. however I now have internal medicine first and have general surgery towards the end of my 3rd yr. How much of a disadvantage am I doing ortho as my first surgical rotation? thanks.

no disadvantage. Just tell your attending that this is your first surgery rotation and he will understand.

Yeah, and tell them your bench is 2x your board score.

And definitely ask the attending how deep he squats....parallel or way past??

The fact that these questions both peaked my interest and made me laugh makes me think im going to like ortho. Sweet brah.
