Any suggestions regarding med school selection when one wants to specialize in orthopedic surgery? Has anyone found one they particularly like and reccommend strongly?
Any thoughts, suggestions, etc. greatly appreciated.

Go somewhere with a strong orthopedics hospital -- e.g., Cornell has the Hosp for Special Surgery.(Check out the ratings of orthopedics in the US News and world report website in their "best hospitals" section.)

This will be helpful because you'll need to do ortho electives in your 4th year and then you will get to work with powerful ortho MDs (i.e., connections for residency).
