Ok I always get confused with these terms. My main question is what does it mean when a cell has decreased osmolality? also does water flow in the direction of high to low osmotic pressure or the other way around? I understand that if you have a high solute concentration in a cell, water will flow into it but i just don't understand when they use these terms. What do they use as a reference to term something low or high osmotic pressure/osmolality??
