Probably has been a few other threads like it, but with ERAS submission in 2 weeks, I was wondering if anyone could shed light on their experiences at a DO em residency. Im applying to about 10 allo and 10 osteo but I dont think I have a shot at much more than 2-3 of the allo's, but the cost of 1 = the cost of 10 so why not apply. So essentially I am preparing for a 4 year osteo Em residency. Any thoughts on the extra year providing more training? Do the smaller Do hospitals in ohio, pennsylvania, Wv with ED volumes of <40k yearly still offer adequate trauma training? Just want to make sure I am getting a solid education though I am going to go wherever I match obviously.
