I recently sent in my AACOMAS and it has just been mailed out to my designated schools. I am expecting my secondaries soon. My question is when do osteopathic schools start interviewing? Could it be as early as august? Thank you all.

Usually September or so.

You will need to wait a good month aftrer sending backs econdaries befor eyou get interviews, unless your application has some stellar stuff on it.

generally people who interview early have knockout numbers or the "right" letters of recommendation.

Good luck with secondaries...always a good time there.

JKD,

You'll work it out -- trust me. This is something that you've worked for your entire life and you'll make it work somehow. I've found that if you talk to your professors during their office hours and tell them why you'll be missing class - they are very understanding and supportive. One professor even let me take a midterm early.

Good luck!! :hardy:
