Has anyone taken or anyone planning on taking the Osteopathic Pediatric Boards held in May? Are they similar to the abp boards? Any info on them would be helpful!
The AOBP exam is a much better assessment of what a general pediatrician should know rather than a trivia game with gotcha questions. I would advise that you take it if you have the option. The content covered is the same as the ABP, but with some OMM included. To prepare the use of Medstudy or PBR as well as Board Vitals/Medstudy question banks. Both are good depending on your study preferences. For the OMM knowledge use Welcome to AOBP.
Applying for the AOBP is a bit of a pain because of the manual paperwork, but it is worth it. Hopefully they will improve that process.
