Osteopathic programs

Does anyone currently attend or know anything about the osteopathic programs? It's virtually impossible to find any information about any of them. I would be happy to hear from anyone about their experiences with away rotations, matching, types of surgical experience, etc.

I would try to make sure the programs you are interested are able to make the change to acgme because some of the smaller programs have to make a lot of changes in order to meet the requirements. Outside of that concern a lot are fairly similar with a few outliers that have bigger programs. I'd also beware of brand new programs because you have no way to know what is going to happen with them. Make sure they have a base hospital there was a program in Detroit with no base hospital and you switched around every 3-4 months but I think it is no longer around.
