Are any of the osteopathic classes offered during the summer?? I noticed the catalog had listings of classes , fall, spring and summer. I didn't know if this applied to other graduate programs or the osteopathic classes. Thanks

Those are graduate classes.

Here are the only situations where you'd take a class in the summer for MS1 or MS2: you're in a combined program (DO/MBA/MPH/PhD) or you failed an MS1 class and are remediating.

Your clinical rotations during MS3 & 4 are over the summer, though.

Thanks DrMom. I have another question. What is the typical day like for a 1st year (time that class starts and ends, etc...)? I couldn't think of much to ask the day of the tour, now i'm just full of questions.🙂

Here is this year's schedule for both classes. Doesn't seem to change notabley from year to year, so yours should be close or exactly the same. 🙂

First semester is like this:
Mon: 2 hrs of anatomy lab in the afternoon (either 1-3 or 3-5)
Tues: lectures 9-12, labs1-5
Weds: lectures 9-12, lab either 1-3 or 3-5
Thurs: just like Tues
Fri: lectures 9-12

Second semester:
Mon: lectures 8-12, lab either 1-3 or 3-5
Tues: lectures 9-12, lab either 1-3 or 3-5
Weds: like Mon
Thurs: lectures 9-12 & 1-2, lab (some weeks only) 2-4
Fri: lectures 8-12

Second year is basically:
lectures 8-12 every morning
afternoons:
Mon: lecture 1-3
Tues: lab 1-3 or 3-5
Weds: off
Thurs: lab 1-3 or 3-5
Friday: off
