I interviewed in December and was waitlisted at OSU. Does anybody have any experience getting in off their waitlist? What are some good ways to show interest? Do you recommend speaking with a certain person at the school?
Any advice is appreciated.

I was on the waitlist for two months before getting accepted. After my interview, I called Bonnie Laster to get some feedback. I let them know that I didn't feel like I came across as myself in the interview (don't do this unless it's true). Also, in my thank you letters, I made it clear that it was my first choice. At this point, a letter (or email) of interest would not hurt. PM me if you want to talk specifics.

a little birdie also told me that Dana Livingston may also be able to help a little, if Leah is busy...

Does this really work. I am certain I did not come across as myself in the interview. I didn't do bad, but I could have done better. I had the flu the day before and was still feeling very bad. I was running fever, had a rash (I guess from the fever), and was completely exhausted (barfing the whole day before). I know TMI, but the truth!
