Hey Blaze--
I was also there on Saturday and enjoyed my visit. USCguy, what impressed me the most about OSU was how genuine the students and faculty were in their excitement of being at OSU. It is a small class (88--that's small compared to other schools I have looked at) and all the classes are held in one building, which is nice. The student I ate lunch with emphasized how supportive the faculty was throughout medical school. She said even if a student did poorly, the faculty will do anything to assist them--tutors, extra time, etc. I am a female, married, non-trad, and it spoke loudly to me that they have a special group just for spouses to help support them while we are in medical school. It did seem to prefer Oklahoma residents, since it is a state school, and they are ranked highly in rural medicine, if that is your bag. The school is located next to the Arkansas river and there is a fantastic 20+ mile bike/running path within walking distance to the school. But maybe Blaze can tell you some other aspects I missed.
