Thoughts on OSU (ohio state uni.) in general? the good and the bad...and please try not to be bias. Thanks!

oh and if anyone knows information or has experience with the BSPS (Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences Program)... please feel free to share. 🙂

Amazing school. It's very well-rounded. You get the best college exp while still getting a good education. Football games are a ton of fun, the student life is great. Everyone knows how to have fun, but they're still very studious. Pharmacy school is very highly ranked with a high NAPLEX rate and to get into OSUSOP you need Calc II which is always good(filters out the less hard working). The school is also known for it's research and business school(fisher). It's a public ivy with a huge endowment. Networking is top notch. OSU also has a pharmD/MBA program and a 0-6 program. You'll meet a ton of pre-pharms there.

The downsides: Ohio has a ridiculously saturated market for pharmacy. It's pretty expensive if you're out of state, and classes tend to be on the harder side.

I recommend getting a BS in chemistry or biology should you choose not to pursue pharmacy.
