I just received Ohio's secondary application notice via email. A link to their secondary application is provided within the message along with a stern warning that it can be only accessed once. My concern is that I will encounter some questions which require a thoughtful, thorough answer and run into a conflict that will require me to exit (such as my house is on fire, being attacked my gnomes, and so forth). To those of you that have filled out their secondary was it rather straight forward or somewhat time consuming? In addition, what were some of their questions. Your answers will help me gauge how much uninterrupted time I will need to set aside in order to complete it. Thank you.

Can you post a sample question from the questionnaire? - I am expecting my 2ndry to come-through soon, would be helpful if you could give me, or others the type of questions OSU is posing to its applicants in their secondries at this stage of the process.

That would be great.

Thanks

When I completed it, it was just a rehashing of everything I had listed on my AADSAS application.

I also think the reason they allow you to access it only once is so that you are somewhat forced to think on your feet. I don't think they want others to know what the questions are ahead of time, thus being able to put hours and hours into their responses. Just my thoughts.

Since I am not aware of a typical example of what questions pop-out from OSU secondry.... can you re-call what your secondary contained (questions)?

Thanks ItsGavinC. I suspected as much and appreciate your feedback.

I remember being concerned about the same thing last year. However, the secondary wasnt a big deal at all, like Gavin said. I cant remember specifics, but if it is the same as last year, it didnt take me long to finish and didnt require tons of thought.

How long does it take to get an interview after the secondry?

WHat did you guys think about the second question in the secondary, where it asks to to talk about what experiences confirmed your desire to be a doctor? I answered this question in my personal statement fully and know i should put something different, or did you guys just put your PS again?
