Can Anyone PLEASE tell me if the oos tuition+fees at Ohio State is the same as it is on the website for the class entering fall 2011? What other fees (ex: insurance) are included in addition to the tuition? Don't care about personal expenses. For now, just want to calculate oos total tuition and other fees. Thanks.

They'll probably be a little different for the 2012-2013 school year (you could probably call them and ask).

I did call and left a voicemail, emailed Mr. murray too. I am already familiar with that webpage - only wanted to know if ins etc will be added later on. If that's the case, tuition+fees will be higher than what is listed on that website. Some universities don't list all the fees and you see the extra charges later on. For example, .UIC t...uition web page did not include instrument cost, and some people found out about it later on. ( http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=821589&highlight=UIC+tuition
). I wanted to know if there is any other fees that is not listed on the website and can be charged.

There are four main criteria: 1. Tuition, 2. Fees (inclding ins, and other fees), 3. books and instrument, 4. Living+other expenses. And I am talking abot #2, "Fees". Other info can be found on the school website.

If anyone knows how much the fees going to be, PLEASE pretty PLEASE share it here.

Oh sorry, I guess I misunderstood you. That page does state that insurance is already added in the financial aid budget, so that must be included in the fees.

That's what I thought too, but when I called in the morning, someone said the ins is something extra that's not listed on the page. I am waitign to hear back from Mr. Murray, but in the mean time I wanted to ask a real ohio student for what he/she is paying in real.

Have you decided where you'll be goign?

haha yeah kinda weird that there's no full breakdown anywhere... I even looked through all the paperwork I have from them. Hopefully someone will come on and let you know 🙂

thanks. Will you be going to ohio state?

Hey I'm pretty sure the tuition is more than what is listed on the website. I had originally calculated it to be less but at the interview they gave us a sheet that had higher tuition. Ohio resident changes every year: 35,994 - 47,868 - 45,568 - 47740. Ohio non-resident is 69,984 (only first year). This includes the tuition and fees and instrument stuff...

That's what listed on the website. a little +/- but not too far off. It's still not so bad if the real #s are somewhere around that range. Afterall, people get residency after a year! I wanted to know if there is any other charges/fees that's not listed on the website. If anyone who is going there can give me a breakdown of their tuition and fees, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I got scared b/c I read a thread for uic tuition and 1st year students were saying the #s were far off. They did not list some 10-15K fees of something.
