So the UPS man came by and dropped off an acceptance letter for OSUCOM for the class of 2011!!!

Anyone else do share 😀

Congratulations! Now you can start the OSU-COM class of 2011 thread in the Osteopathic Class Threads forum. 😉

Feel free to PM me or any of the other OSU folks on here if you have any questions.

 Congrats Medicineman! I got a waitlist letter in the mail today. Talk about freaking out when I saw that small envelope!! :scared: But that means I'm in the running for a bit still. Have to wait and see, .

I know it isn't an acceptance and is disappointing, but an OSU-COM waitlist is far from the end of the world. Generally, about 1/2 of each entering class spent some time on the waitlist. Hang in there! :luck:

Thanks, that's what everyone keeps telling me. I was not dissapointed, TOO BAD, not the big package I was wanting, but I'm a patient person...well...sometimes anyway.

unfortunately, this whole process is about waiting. you wait for MCAT scores, secondaries, interview invites, acceptances, steps 1 & 2 & PE scores, residency interviews, residency acceptances, step 3 scores....

I hope that patience pays off for you 😉 you'll need it.

Thanks, I'm sure I will. It took me long enough to decide what I was supposed to do with my life, now it's just more waiting, but that's okay i guess.

Funny story, I actually bounced a check on one of my application fees.😱 They rejected me really quick!!!!😀 😀

On a side note it is really nice to have an acceptance to my #2. I would be totally happy going there, but OSU would be more convienient. Anyways the other acceptance and my good friend Jack Daniels has definately numbed the pain quite a bit (Oh and the naked snow angels that my friend Jack Daniels talked me into were really really really numbing).

Well I said I would drunk one way or the other, but I just couldn't do in on a waitlist letter, so I am to have to wait some more. And I spent all nite out in the snow, so I was far from wanting to perform snow angels, much less intoxicated.😀

Well women were involved so it was really really tough to say no to. Im so freakin hurting from hitting a road block sign going about 45 in a sled. Completely knocked me out and I have possibly the coolest bruise ever on my hip. Very cool video though.

Well that explains a lot too! I was busy getting ambulances unstuck all night, not much fun 🙁 .
