Dont worry. OSU doesn't really get going until November. They'll begin sending out interview invites around the end of October, so even if you don't hear anything until then you'll be fine. Just check with the school to ensure you are complete. Also, OSU keeps track of every time you contact the school so checking in with them every few weeks is not a bad idea.
OSU was here in Springfield, MO at Missouri State University for our premedical conference. I told them about my interview at KCUMB next week and the fact that OSU is my first choice, but I would gladly go to KCUMB if accepted. The admissions rep seemed interested in this and took my name down and jotted some notes on a piece of paper. She told me to wait until I get an acceptance before writing a formal letter of intent, even though I am afraid I might get one and have to decide before getting a chance to even interview. Do you think this will have any effect on their plans of when or whether to invite me?
I had a visit there (not interview) last Friday. Sara in admissions said they would be evaluating COMPLETE (and she stressed complete) applications in the next two weeks. She anticipated invitations within three to four weeks starting with dates in late October for interviews. By the way VERY nice school. I hope my visit shows that I am serious, even though I am from Missouri.

Missouri here, too. I have been there a total of 3 times. I even met DrMom the first time! The second was an interview. The third was Med Xtravaganza. I was very impressed, as you were, and I really like Tulsa. Anyway, they do take you serious if you visit, and they remember you. I think it does help.
