Hi All,

I have previously posted questions regarding my interest in pursuing a MS in Occupational Therapy. However, I wanted to know if anyone that is currently pursuing or has pursued a degree in OT could share their experiences in OT school? (ie. fieldwork experiences and course content, etc.)

Thanks,

Madusa 😀

I've had pretty much only good exeriences as an OT student (graduating in 332 days!). As the only male in my class of 34, it has made for interesting times because the teachers always want the male perspective on things for some reason. I've had some crappy teachers, but what program in any discipline doesn't have them?

Course content is a bit difficult, esspecially in the beginning when they go over the philosophy and framework of OT. Once I got past that stuff, its been mostly easy sailing for me.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask!

yeah i know what you are talkign about. i was only one of 6 guys in the class of 76. it's a good program and im just about done the MSOT degree at the university of toronto. im more interested in finding how i can apply my OT degrees in other areas of practice so we will see.
