I'm currently getting my bachelor's from a&m as well. Did your 2nd degree take long to complete? I'm trying to look at all my options at this point since OT schools don't take into consideration where you received your degree from :/

I'm getting my second degree in psychology and I was able to get it in one year (fall/spring semester). A lot of your credits will count towards your second degree (like all the state required ones) so you dont have to retake those. Most universities only require that you have 30 hours from their institution to get a second degree. Since my second degree is in psychology, i was able to retake prerequisites and still fulfill the requirements for the degree plan.

INTERESTING! That's good to know..thanks so much 🙂

Hi I will be applying to Medical University of San Antonio and Galveston, along with University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Saint Augustine, Medical University of South Carolina, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and NOVA Southeastern University.

I have a 3.3 GPA overall,3.3 Pre Req GPA, 15 Hours of Pediatric, 50 Hours Inpatient, and 50 Hours Outpatient of Shadowing/Volunteering hours. Taking the GRE in a few weeks

What are my chances of getting in these schools and could you guys PLEASE recommend any other schools in Texas or Florida that are worthy of applying for and any advice you could give! Thank you!!!

I got accepted to the MOT program at TWU-Houston and I start in August! My stats are:

University: University of Houston-Main Campus
Major: Education EC-6th
Overall GPA: 3.8
Pre-Req GPA: I want to say it was around a 3.4
GRE: Didn't have to take

Extra-Curric: I've worked my entire undergraduate career, but I did do about 100 hours of observation in different OT settings.

Acceptances: TWU-Houston (I only applied here so I was very happy to get in)!

If you have any questions message me and I will try to help you the best that I can. I was VERY nervous for about 2 years before I applied to TWU about getting in so believe me I know it can be stressful!
