I am faced with a descision here. I got accepted to both OU-COM and LECOM. While OU is much closer to my home LECOM seems to have a very good program for preparing you for the COMLEX! Any suggestions?

Is this really a question? Go to OU-COM! 👍

Yeah... totally. Go to OUCOM. You can prepare for the COMLEX yourself, you don't need a curriculum to do that for you.

OUCOM. Athens sucks, but Erie sucks even more.

Additionally for what its worth, the dean of my school has done a statistical analysis over a number of years regarding the performance on the COMLEX/USMLE of people that have taken prep programs versus those that haven't. The p value, while I can't remember it, was greater than 0.05. In other words, no significance.

Do you know where I can find information on match rates for OU-COM?

If you mean match lists... you can search the forum and it's on here somewhere. In terms of rate I can tell you that this year, in the osteopathic match we had 64/65 match. We had 6/6 ortho surgery matches which are really hard to get. We also had 1 optho and 2 ENT this year. Don't know about allopathic yet... I'll let you know after Thursday 😉 .
