I am applying to OU-Tulsa's PharmD program next year. I know only about 200 students (at best) will get an interview and i hope to be one. If anyone here goes ot went to OU or OU-Tulsa can you tell me what kind of questions they ask on the interview? Heck, if you go to any PharmD program can you tell me the type of things they ask? Is it like an oral test, or the 'why do you want to become a a pharm? Any feedback would be great.

They don't ask campus specific questions. I posted some feedback in the interview feedback section after my interview. I don't really remember what they asked, so you might look there. I go to OU Tulsa, and it is awesome. If you have anymore questions, ask!!!!

I go am on the OKC campus. I got asked questions about being on a team, being put in difficult situations in a group, if I felt like I was ever a mentor to someone, and why I wanted to go into pharmacy. I figure they are all different, but that is just a few I got.

I also had a practicing pharmacy ask me how I would handle certain situations. For example, he asked what I would do if the wrong person got someone else's meds and what I would do if I got in trouble for calling a Dr.'s office too much.

Pharmacy school is pretty good and I am fixing to start my studying for the biochem test that will be on Monday. Have you started studying yet cyclo??

Oh, kind of. I reaaalllly need to get Dr. West's stuff down good.

How did your DDS test go? It was kind of controversial in Tulsa.

The DDS test was alright. I figure I got anywhere from a 72-88, but we'll see. A lot of those seemed like they had more than one answer. There was one question about the absorbed dose and the administered dose.

administered dose > absorbed dose
Administered dose > or = absorbed dose

I felt like either oen of those is correct. Theoretically, the absorbed dose could be equal to the adminstered dose. However, in reality, the administered dose is greater than the absorbed dose.

That was one contreversial question for me. I think Dr. Z is kind of spastic and off the wall. I don't know the last time I've been to biochem either. I hope to get some good studying in this weekend. Good luck.

That was one of mine too. I passed, which is more than I can say for 50% (at least, some wont say) of the class. And, I thought todays lecture was a waste. He lectured over notes that we have already been tested over.

I hated going to that class today. Anyways, I haven't checked to see what I made. I didn't have it in my box when I left today. Anyways, good luck studying for biochem.
