I have all my science courese done, as I was originally pre-med. I graduated in 03, decided not to do medicine and then just did odd jobs for a while paying off loans.
My problem with applying to pharm now is, will my course work from 99-03 etc. be considered too old to be counted and will I have to take the few pre-reqs I don't have like psyc, economics, statisitcs etc. I know UB waives those for applicants with a bachelors. What other schools are like that?
Thanks.

UNC, but they are really hard to get into out of state.

As for older prereqs, I went to undergrad from 1998 to 2002 and didn't have any problems with the age of my prereqs. It may depend on the school though so I would check with each individually.

You sound like me! I had no problem getting schools to accept my course work, some of it was even done when I was in high school (98-99). I did have to take 2 missing prereqs though, stats and micro but took stats on line and did it when I wanted and I'm taking micro now which seems like a waste of time (a lot of review) but at least it gets me into study mode.

I had science & math pre-reqs going back to 1995. None of the schools I applied to had a problem (UNC, Mercer, Campbell, Wingate, & Howard). Got interview invites from all 5. I did notice some schools had specific time limitations for coursework posted on their PharmCAS school pages, so I didn't apply to those.

Graduated in 97. No problem. I haven't heard of anyone with good grades having to repeat old courses.

You will need to check with the specific schools. I am limited to the schools I can apply to because some have a 7 or 10 year limit on coursework.

I wasn't looking forward to have to repeat O-Chem when I got As and A-s. What if I get a lower grade the second time around?

Same here, I got a, a-s. Albany actually wanted me to take those organic courses over!
What other schools don't care about the age limit for courses? I can't help but wonder if unofficially it might have some problem.

I am only familiar with the CA schools that don't have the time limit on prereqs.

Western, Touro, and UCSF don't have a time limit

UOP will accept old science courses, but you have to retake the 2nd semester of organic and a semester of bio core.

USC, UCSD have time limits on prereqs.

I am not sure about Loma Linda, because they never replied to my inquiry.
