How do you decide which school you want to go? I'm debating whether to attend an old out of state public school or a new private school. I will have to pay almost the same tuition for both schools. What's the pro and the cons? any advice will be greatly appreciated 🙂

depends on the school....but i'd rather go to the private school than pay out of state tuition for a public (all other things being equal). I'd just be pissed sitting next to someone who's paying WAY less than I did and getting the same education.

You might want to look into whether you could be considered a resident at the out of state school after a year.

For me, it was the first school to say "Yes". I applied to several schools that had tuition differentials and I don't care if someone's paying less for the same education because I'm still getting the education (no offense intended confettiflyer). Which school is better suited to you? Closer to family? Strong in a particular field that you are interested in? Better yet, flip a coin and when it lands the school you'll be wanting it to be will be your answer. Of course, if you're indifferent, that won't work.
