out-of-state schools for Cali residents

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
go to ucla career center and ask for a list of schoools that accepted ucla med students, that should be a good guide for you to follow.

but in my experience there were hella ucla kids at UVM.
Ca has the most premeds in the nation, and so a good number of out of state schools have a decent number of cali kids. they all know ucla so you should be ok at a lot of them...maybe even the ones that have instate quotas to fill.

MCO is da' bomb-diggity! 😀 😎 👍 🙂

This also depends on which undergrad school you went to, since certain undergrad schools are known to send people to certain medical schools regardless of the student's state of residence. For example, I went to Hopkins undergrad and they are known to send a lot of kids to Pitt, NYU, JHU Med, and Vanderbilt. If you are from UCLA, I know, apart from the UC Medical schools, which are probably the best for Cali residents, I know Albert Einstein, Pitt, Boston University, and Georgetown take a lot of California residents. Hope this helps.

UMich takes a lot of Cali residents (they take a lot out-of-state in general despite being a public school)
