Out of staters applying to Univ of Washington, please read and respond, thank you

I am applying to UWash as an out of stater too and I have checked the website status check where it says,
"APPLICATION STATUS

Action was taken on your application 10/02/2001. You should receive a letter from our office by 10/12/2001"

Have you or anyone you know received anything from UWash and if so is this what the website status check said before you got any correspondence from UWash? Were they rejected?

When I check my application status, it says,

"Action was taken on your application 9/21/2001. You should receive a letter from our office by 9/28/2001."

That week, I received a letter by mail that said that they were missing my MCAT score report. The next day, I called the admissions office and they just told me to fax my score report. I haven't heard from them since.

I'm assuming both of you had already been asked by UW to send in the secondary materials?

Did they send you some kind of letter or email stating anything about it or what?

Nope..I never got the secondary. They said they had to review my AMCAS and MCAT first b/c I was out-of-state.

I received a rejection letter yesterday. I was kind of expecting it, so I am not too disappointed. It was a long shot, but I love Washington and my wife grew up there. Even without much of a chance to get in, I would have regretted not applying there

Did you ever receive anything from the school? I got the same message today when I logged in..... except the "receive by" date is the 17th.

I got the same message a week ago ... and I got a rejection letter today. Sucks. 🙁

I just checked my status today and now the dates have changed to,

"Action was taken on your application 10/09/2001. You should receive a letter from our office by 10/16/2001."

I think my rejection letter is on its way.
