I'm taking the test 7/16 and just finished AAMC 5. My scores have been: 25, 25, 31, 32, 33, 32, 35, 33,...and 27 (8/8/11) today. Has anyone else had particular difficulty with AAMC 5? I'm freaking out right now.

Maybe you're just a little burnt out. No need to freak out because of one subpar score. What other exams have you taken?

You should relax a couple of days. There is such a thing as studying too much. I think you will do fine on your exam. Just because you get a score below your range doesn't mean you are going to fail! Use this as a motivational tool and keep at it!

Thanks guys. I'll clarify my tests: Kaplan diagnostic 25, Kap FL 1 25, Kap FL 2 31, Kap FL 3 32, Kap FL 4 33, Kap FL 5 32, AAMC 3 35, AAMC 4 33, AAMC 5...27.

My fear essentially is that the earlier AAMCs are easier than the later and than the real test.

Upon reviewing the test, I did seem to miss a lot of questions that I could have answered correctly had I been more diligent. It's just very frustrating since I'm trying to increase my score and test day is less than 2 weeks away.

My goal is a 35 (or higher) on the real thing, so I want to make that or higher at least a couple of times toward test day. I was trending upwards predominantly with this one big decrease.

😡
