Hi 1st yr resident here. I would like to invest in a outpatient book that i can just read in my spare time. I don't like to look at a screen any more than i have to since i do that all day anyway in the clinic or the hospital. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Although it's not exactly a textbook, I would recommend reading the American Family Physician journal that is released every 2 weeks. Very high yield, relevant topics.

AFP Journals, Prescribers Letter, online videos on relevant procedures. I never had time for a book until I was a third year.

Resident's guide to ambulatory care. Great book on outpatient stuff.
