Is anyone else sick of undergrad upper divisions science courses? After the MCAT getting all A's last year, filling out AMCAS, secondaries and bothering lazy professors to write LOR's i'm bloody sick of my school. Interviewing hasn't helped either. Seeing MEdical Schools on the East Coast has made me realize that I am sick of California especially So Cal with its seasonless weather. Am I alone on this? I don't think so.

You are not alone! AND, I think I speak for many other people when I say sometimes you just want to move on to the next stage of life! I asked for a letter of rec from a professor in May of 2003 and I was lucky to get it by October. The bastard delayed my application because he "knew what he wanted to say in his head, but couldn't get it on paper!" Come on... laziness.

It's hard to hang in there, but my only motivation is mailing my grade updates to schools who may be deciding between an acceptance and a rejection. Med school means a lot to me, and I wish I were there already, but all the crap like latin honors and golden key mean a lot to me as well. I'm torn between a new love and an old flame!

I do disagree with you about SoCal, though. I love it here! I've been to the east coast too, but my heart is in Orange County. Who know, maybe I'll fall in love with Boston this month?!?

i never got sick of my classes. they were hella interesting and labs were fun.

it was bittersweet when i graduated. i was happy to be getting my diploma but sad that i would be done with my college experience.

sigh...

i like socal but i love norcal.

seasonless is not necessarily bad. i would never want the humidity of the east coast summer. man was i glad to move away from ny. if i dont want to waste precious money on heating bills in the winter. if i want snow and cold, then i can just drive a couple of hours and be in the mountains here in cali and have fun there. both north and south cali. autumns are nice in norcal, tho fall in socal isnt too great i suppose. i guess autumn would be the only season that is lacking in socal. but thats why once again. i love norcal.

perfection 😉

Dude. That's a great line...I'll have to use it the next time I'm late with a paper...
