I just got an email from a professor to let me know that I got a small amount of grant funding for a childhood obesity initiative I've been working on. It's not a big name award, and it's only $1500. But that's one more school I can take the program to. I've poured my soul into that project, and it's so nice to finally get a little bit of money to help offset costs.

For me the day started out terrible, I saw a major violent act of road rage and had to call 911 but then besides that I actually am starting to be able to understand and keep up in my chem class (yay for pre reading!)
