So, i just took my LAST basic sci exam, a bloody pharm exam. I feel like I just took boards or something. It feels so great, but yet, i feel like i know nothing. Well, I still haven't taken behavioral, but that's a joke at our school, and i don't have that until febr (i think it's cuz our classes our gpa based, and behav si the only class thats pass/fail based on shelf).

Well, I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys--im sure you guys care 😀 Anyone else with a less than2 year basic sci curric feel so content? Well, it's only going to last a few days--onto Medicine and the fearful boards studying. 🙁

I'll be done in the first week of january...I feel your pain with studying for the boards, but thank goodness for no more long lecture hours day after day....

What do you people do for the rest of the year?! We go until early May, and are supposed to have taken Step 1 by the end of May. So we can begin rotations in June.

we start rotations and we have the option of taking 1-2 months off for boards prep... it's a bit more flexible..i couldn't imagine taking boards immediately or within 4-6 weeks after classes get done (i guess it's ok if your curric is awesome and you get taught well...our curric kinda blows...in terms of basic sci and we gotta do a lot of prep on our own...there are very few subj that the school prepares you for. That being said, our clinals are pretty good for the most part..we get a lot of experience. Start seeing patients second sem of med school.
