Overriding DURs

i see a lot of DURs which are paid claims but still pop up as High dose or DDIs, Preg alert etc. Do you guys necessarily respond to those?

There are of course some hard rejects I have seen for controlled substance and other major DDI’s for which I have to override manually or call then insurance for that

Depends entirely on the individual interaction. Being able to approach these different situations with the required nuance is literally the basis of us having jobs.

Often times, I see the preg alerts and the patient isnt even pregnant anymore... I think the system isn't good enough
