An opportunity has presented itself - a local personal care home with about 25pts in the facility is asking our group if we would be ingested in buying the facility from them.

Anyone know if this would be a stark law violation? If it is, then we wouldn’t need to open up the books and see if it's financially a good investment. Probably will need to get the opinion of an attorney.

best to consult an attorney. But may I ask -- why would you want this sort of investment? Probably operates on very narrow margins, if it's even profitable

I know nothing about nothing, but when an entity is saying "hey please buy us" it's usually not a wise investment. The current owners would happily sit back and collect profits if it was a good business.
