Hi
I have trouble recognizing ox/red pieces!! So just want to know if we go from higher oxidation number to lower oxidation number that means reduction and lower to higher means oxidation. Am I right? Can some one please help me so I can understand it better...

Yes, you are right. From high to low is reduction cause it gains e and from low to high is oxidation losses e.

LEO ( loss e oxidation)
Just try to see it gains e or losses e.
Hope it helps!
