Hello,

Maybe I am overthinking this.....lol

Okay what do you guys think of this idea. Instead of going a normal postbac route, how do you think med schools would look on me doing a med program in Australia and then trying to do a program here?

Or trying to complete a year or two in Australia and then trying for an MS-1 place here?

Silly idea? Just stick with a US post-bac?

If you want to be a doctor here, and go to med school here, you should be taking the courses here.

Wow, what clear and concise reasoning! A very convincing argument.

Last time I checked, Australian human beings are relatively similar to American human beings. How much do you really want to go to a med school that sees international experience as a bad thing?

I spent 6 months in Australia working and travelling...and here I am, a medical student. If you go down under and want some tips on must-see spots, pm me.

How would you gain admittance to med school in Australia if you are stuggling to get into one here?
