Hi I'm just wondering if its ok to take an english class for pass/no pass. I've taken 2 quarters of english so far for graduation requirements. I'm pretty bad at writing and my grades were c+ for the first class and I worked my butt off only to get a b+ for the second, so I'm pretty sure that the third will only bring down my gpa. Anyone have experience with this sort of thing?
thanks alot!

I don't know anything about the quarter system, but if you have already taken a couple English courses I can't imagine it would be that big of a deal.

3 quarter units = 2 semester units
Im pretty sure you will need 3 with a grade. So it looks like you will have to suck it up and take it for a grade.

Most schools wouldn't like if you took a pre-req P/NP. Especially if you're had trouble with the topic in the past. Also, if english is your second language, you need to prove mastery of english. A high verbal can do this, but often ESL students really struggle with that MCAT section.
