Hey I was wondering what the per hour workload is for each of the specialties. I'd like to become a PA but I don't want to be working 60 hour weeks. Does it depend on what specialty you go into?
Any thoughts would be helpful!
Thanks

You can really work what you want.... depends what you like to do. Some people work two days a week... some work 7...go to Physicianassistant.net and look around, you can probably scrounge up some answers there.

You should be able to find a jopb that will fit your lifestyle. I had a PA friend that shared call with his S.P. this made for some long hours upon occasion. I had one job that ended up being 50 hrs a week on a regular basis. My current job is very close to exactly 40 hrs a week.
