To the ER residents/attending-

If you had a PA student with you, what skills would you like them to be familiar with?!

Any advice for a PA-Student during their rotation at a Level 1 Trauma center?

I have them at a level I center all the time, I treat them the same as medical students doing an ER rotation. read intro to clinical emer med

The ED can be a tough environment for a student.
At times it is too busy for effective teaching.
If you can present your patients effectively, this may leave more time for teaching.
Anything you can do to help the attendings will also leave more time for teaching and be greatly appreciated.
