I loved my pacific interview. Out of all of them, I felt the most comfortable at this one. Everyone was VERY nice and the interview was easy going. It consisted of a professor and a student. I think if you email or call them they will tell the plans for the interview day, then you can know exactly what to expect. Don’t worry about it and just be yourself! There was an ethics question in my interview, but when you get it, you will know what to say.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your comment, yeah I am totally excited about it, see mine is think is gonna be a little different, a rep from the school and comming down to our school and holding 4 interviews from our school so i dont know if it will be the same layout as if you were in front of a couple people or a panel but then again I guess phoning and asking is a good idea....thanks again...

Hi ODDream,
The Pacific folks are SUPER nice. Don't sweat it at all. But to give you an idea of the interview, I'll tell you about mine (which was on campus, so it might be slightly different than your's.) It was about 1 hr long with a student and professor. They had a set of questions they had to ask that were very typical and unsurprising-- Why optometry? What do you know about the profession? What other professions did you consider? What are your best and worst qualities? How do you study? What would you do if you weren't understanding the course material? For the ethics question, you'll get a scenario that students typically go through. Mine was regarding how to deal with a classmate who wasn't putting his effort into a group project. They just want to see how you respond under pressure.

Good luck! HTH.

Hey thanks HYCW!

That really helps, I know the answers for most of those questions, but I need to practise them, I have a feeling that I might be trying to memorize things which is not what I want to appear like but at the same time I want to be confident. Any other tidbits would be great...thanks again!
