When graduating what are the goals and expectations of newer grads? Many start wanting to be a private practice owner (or used to anyways) but end up staying in a city as an associate or working commercial. Many new grads will find out soon there will not be many private practice to purchase or buy into soon in cities because many are being bought by private equity.
Is location and amenities become the most important of all?
What sort of compensation would make a newer grad look at more "less desirable" locations like the Midwest or smaller towns/cities?
