Does answering this yes or no have any benefits? I am not sure what to put. I worked before age 18 but that was cash so I dont know what to put. Any suggestions? ty
Answer yes. Unless maybe this was a "job" wherein your parents were doing your little old lady neighbor on fixed income a solid in having you mow her yard weekly in exchange for a fiver and personal character development, in which case, well, maybe not. Like FAS says above this is a question to determine eligibility for hardship growing up.
Don't expect your answer to hurt or help either way so just answer to the best of your ability. Plenty of kids have cash jobs: babysitting, shoveling snow/mowing grass, caddying. dog walking, etc. And plenty of kids work for their family's small businesses, too, which is also work, often without a paycheck.
