Gosh- I wish I really knew how FAFSA worked. I also wished that UNC's scholorships just came handed on a platter. I can't seem to find where the applications actually are!

Calm down. I'm fairly certain that what he(or she) meant was that they put down their deposit at another school, not UNC.

UNC is a great school, but Chapel Hill is boring as crap! Maybe because I have been here for 4 years.

You won't find them, either. Scholarship applications are given to students to fill out (if they wish) during orientation. So basically, you can't even apply for a scholarship (and therefore that can't factor in your decision to attend UNC) until August or September. That said, there are dozens that are given out for varying amounts. I was fortunate enough to receive one 3 of 4 years...
