I just performed L2-5 RFA and pt stands up and immediately says the buttock and hip are sore and sensitive (no weakness). I have never heard this before...thoughts?

is it where the pad was located? you can get local irritation at the grounding pad site.
No, I wish. I had the grounding pad on the opposite leg.

This is the answer. Triggered facetogenic and SIJ pain from laying prone. Some of my RF patients have not laid prone for more than 5 seconds in a decade or more.
This also happens with neck pain.
