This may be late for the 2008 year but I thought we could list the places where Pain Management Externships are offered. Second, does anyone have any reccomendations for a concise book on Pain Management? Thanks.

it's actually the concise guide to pain management, and that particular text is written for psychiatrists. i don't think that's what the poster was looking for. 🙄 (but, nice attempt at superfluous sarcasm and being an unhelpful dick.)

Anyways, I recommend Pain Medicine & Management: Just The Facts. Solid book and EASILY readable.

There are better pain books out there but they're gonna cost ya about 50 bucks more: Essentials of Pain medicine and Regional Anesthesia. This book is the knobble-bomb.
