are there any? I am on percocet right now and i don't feel comfie being on them at work (even though they help). This is a temporary thing but the pain is very major and because of internal bleeding I can't take NSAIDs, what type of pain killer would be safe to use at work?

I ended up having to take more time off for my surgery than expected because of this issue. I was lulu on Percocet and didn't feel safe working. better safe than sorry.

yeah I'm like an itchy, nauseous drunk on percocet but it works. I just can't take any more time off as I've already taken quite a bit of time off. I don't want to endanger patients but I also don't want to be writhing in pain, which can't be helpful to patients either.

What is the pain related to? if it's post-op and you can't take NSAIDs, then there's not too much other than opiates. If it's muscle spasms, give a relaxant a whirl.

tramadol? muscle relaxants won't fix it.

In UK, now standard practice to give a PPI with a NSAID.

Suck it up...jk...why cant you take more time off? Are you working retail? Hospital? Use vacation or sick time...Get better! It's your health!

I really hate to be the one to do this, but this isn't really something that should be discussed here. It's essentially medical advice.
