There is a new joint Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship that is now accepting applications via ERAS for the 2014 academic year. The fellowship will be based at the University of California at Davis School of Medicine and will be co-administered by UC Davis Health System, VA Northern California Health Care System, and Kaiser Permanente.

We are currently taking applications for two (2) fellowship positions for the academic year that will start July 2014. More information can be obtained by clicking the following link: http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/internalmedicine/pulmonary/palliative_care_fellowship/index.html

If you are interested in the field of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and would like to do a 1 year clinical fellowship, please feel free to follow the link. For applicants who may be interested in clinical quality improvement and/or research, we do have opportunities to do a 2nd research year.

We are opening the fellowship to many different applicants who may have training in a wide variety of fields and encourage all who are interested to apply. We have tailored the fellowship to not only give the necessary training to be successful within the field, but to also be flexible enough to allow for personalization and exploration within sub-fields of Palliative Medicine.

We are excited to be offering this opportunity and hope that you will apply.
