I'm still disappointed by the slow rollout of third-party apps for Web OS, but it should help the platform to break free from Sprint exclusivity. I might even get one myself since I can't stand the AT&T network in my area (no iPhone for me).

With all the rumors, I'd be surprised if the iPhone wasn't announced for Verizon by this summer and didn't arrive by the fall. However, I have a friend who works at a Verizon store as a customer service rep., and he's told me that supposedly AT&T and Verizon both agree the phone will remain exclusive until 2012. But I don't buy it because he was pretty uninformed about the Nexus One, so I don't think he has any inside info or anything.

So, Blue Dog, can you hold out until June/July? By then you should know if the iPhone is coming this year. This is all assuming you really want an iPhone...

I would prefer the iPhone. My Centro is working fine for me now, so there's really no urgency to upgrade, other than the fact that I'm getting kinda bored with it. I've been using the Palm OS for ten years. Time for a change.
