Panel Format Interviews! L@@k!

Maybe some of you can offer some advice as to how to handle a panel format interview. How are these interviews conducted? Do they ask each applicant a specific question pertaining to their application? Are there general questions they throw out? Do we have to raise our hands to answer a question or do we get to ring a bell? Basically, for those who have gone through this interview process, maybe you can share some of your experiences.

TUCOM's panel interview is hecka fun... As posted in other threads, the panel is usually composed of four people; a second year, and then three faculty/staff members. This panel will be sitting on one side of a table and on the other side is you and three to five other interviewees. Once everyone sits down and settles in and introductions are made one of the panel members picks one of the interviewees and asks them a question. Once the interviewee finishes answering the question the same or one of the other panel members will ask another question to the same or one of the other interviewees... This goes on for the better part of an hour and with any luck you will have been successful in conveying your desire to go to Touro and that you will be a successful student there...

Questions run the full spectrum, from application specific ones to general, "Why osteopathy?" ones... There is no bell to ring and there shouldn't be a need to raise your hand...

Just do your best to "enjoy" the interview day... Get to know the school and try it on for size because they are doing the same to you...
