Not sure if this thread is premature...but to preface it im a saba student (carib IMG) and i've applied to the current match for gas, have extremely strong board scores and great LOR's. What kinda scares me is that i only have 2 ivs as of now and some of the hospitals on the interview list have offered other caribbean students i know interviews and not me as of yet. Does that mean im not gonna get one? Is my school not as well known as say...st georges or ross to get an interview? Are more interviews on the way seeing that the list is growing more and more? Is my head going to explode from stress before rank deadline?

I dont know this is new to me so anyone who has any experience care to drop some knowledge on me as im sure im not the only one whos totally buggin out on 2 interviews in the beginning of october...not to mention only one prelim interview???? Thanks in advance

most interviews aren't given out til mid october...some even wait til november. i just hope you casted a broad net, even with awesome board scores, you want to apply to every tier of program.

you should always have a plan B (i.e. apply to plenty of prelim year programs so you don't lose a year) good luck buddy👍
